Derek Humphry is the author of fifteen books, including the number one best seller, Final Exit: The Practicalities of Self-Deliverance and Assisted Suicide for the Dying. He founded the Hemlock Society in 1980, and is the past president of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies. From 1993 onwards Humphry has been president of the Euthanasia Research & Guidance Organization (ERGO).

In 2004 he was elected an honorary board member of the World Federation of Right to Die Societies in appreciation of his 26 years of involvement with that organization.April 2007 the editors and books critics of the American national newspaper, USA Today, selected 'Final Exit' as one of the most memorable 25 books of the last quarter century. In a 30-year journalistic career Humphry wrote as a staffer for the Bristol Evening World, the Manchester Evening News, the (London) Daily Mail, the London Sunday Times and the Los Angeles Times.

Jack Herer is the author of 'The Emperor Wears No Clothes,' the number one selling hemp book of all time, which has been used in efforts to decriminalize cannabis.

Katherine Brooks was raised in a small town in Louisiana. She left home at an early age to move to Los Angeles. Her father was a Real Estate Broker and her mother, a housewife.

She has an extensive list of film and television credits. Now focusing on her film work, Brooks has garnered dozens of awards including The Emerging Filmmaker Award at the Italian Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at the Chicago Film Festival. Her films have played at over 100 festivals around the world and she gained critical praise for her short films, Finding Kate and Dear Emily. Dear Emily can be seen on the compilation DVD entitled Watching You.

The recent debut of her first feature film, Loving Annabelle, is a story about a Catholic schoolteacher who falls in love with her student. Written and directed by Brooks, the movie made its premier at the prestigious Cinequest Film Festival in 2006. The movie stars Erin Kelly, Diane Gaidry and Academy Award Nominee/Golden Globe recipient, Kevin McCarthy, and won several awards.

Currently, Katherine is writing her next feature Waking Madison, a story that takes place in her home town of New Orleans and Los Angeles. Her cult following on MySpace has also garnered many fans due to her inspirational blogs that promote a refreshing outlook on life.
